About
Michele Camicia (b. 1995, Italy) is a Milan-based documentary photographer.
With studies in Communications and coursework at the John Kaverdash Photography Academy, he develops long- and short-term projects on social, cultural and humanitarian issues, often working across borders.
He takes an author-driven approach to humanitarian crises, focusing on context, continuity and the everyday realities behind the headlines.
Michele has collaborated with agencies, magazines and NGOs including Institute Artist, InsideOver (Il Giornale) and UNICEF.
He holds a Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) certificate and is part of UNICEF Next Gen Italy, a network of young professionals supporting initiatives for children worldwide.
